No driving for a year
In Provincial Court in Princeton on March 11, Colin Wood entered a guilty plea for driving with blood alcohol over .08. Wood was apprehended September 1, 2009, when a police officer on patrol noted a vehicle with no tail lights. He followed and discovered the driver had signs of impairment. Wood was taken for a breath test with a .170 result.
Wood was ordered to pay the $1,000 minimum fine and is prohibited from driving for a year.
Woman accepts Peace Bond
A 19 year old Princeton resident, Kristy McIvor, agreed to a peace bond by a complainant after a disagreement at a party in which a lot of alcohol had been consumed. McIvor will have no contact with the complainant except at school. The bond will last one year.
