JUDGE ORDERS TRIAL

A preliminary inquiry was held in Provincial Court in Princeton on November 9 to determine whether there was sufficient evidence against Rory Mervyn to have him stand trial on a charge of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking.

After hearing testimony from three police officers, Judge G. Sinclair decided there was enough evidence to warrant a Supreme Court trial. No date for trial has been set.
