Dear Editor,
On Sunday March 7th I attended the Celebration of Life for Isabella Johnson. Members of Isabella's family, and friends, told of her many accomplishments and shared memories of this special woman.
I want to thank Isabella for her important contributions to our community.
She was an active volunteer in the Health Coalition, Seniors Branch 30, Old Age Pensioners, Save Our Similkameen, and municipal, provincial, and federal elections. Her concern for others, her informed opinions, and her willingness to speak out for social justice and peace will be missed.
Isabella was one of the very many volunteers that are vital to the social and economic well being of Princeton. To honour Isabella's life I ask that you join me in thanking these women and men as you encounter them in our community.
