LETTERS TO THE EDITOR - September 6, 2005

To The Editor:

An Open Letter To My Patients
This note is to inform you of my decision to terminate my medical practice as of the 1st of December 2005.

I regret having to take this action but find it necessary because I am not able to reasonably limit the number of hours that I am spending at work.

Cascade Clinic is hopeful that there will be two new physicians joining our group in the coming months and it is my hope that they will arrive here prior to my departure from active practice.

If this is not the case, this may mean that you are without a regular family physician for a short period of time.

I will be available in the future at the Cascade Clinic as a replacement for other Doctors when they are away on vacation or when they are away at medical meetings or conferences.

I hope to be able to see you again from time to time in this capacity. I will also be working in the emergency department from time to time, again to relieve other physicians when there is a shortage of medical manpower.

Your records will remain at the Cascade Clinic and if there is any difficulty in sorting out problems with your medical history I will be available to assist your new physician.

It has been my privilege to be your family Doctor and I wish you health and happiness in the future.

Yours sincerely,
Dr. N. J. Bosomworth

Hello George;

Thank you for your interest in our event. As discussed, Iąd appreciate if you could help spread the word to the local Princeton and Keremeos residents about our upcoming event.

We are trying to attract women ages 35 to 64 from all over the Okanagan-Thompson-Similkameen regions and provide them with the most current information, education, and resources on their health care choices. This event has been endorsed by the Interior Health Authority.

The event itself is quite unique. Local expert physicians will deliver the most current information on womens health care choices and will cover such topics as medical, emotional and hormonal issues affecting women today. Our target audience is women ages 35 to 64. The event will be topical, upbeat and lively as women from all over the Interior get together for an afternoon to discuss issues that are uppermost to all of us aging, sex, hormones, relationships and vitality.

The host and creator of the show, Candace Newton, has over 20 years experience in the health profession and teaching hundreds of women in lifestyle changes and the medical industry.

She is a comedian, artist, writer, singer, etc. She has quite an eclectic background! Please visit our website at www.unlockingsecrets.com for further information and to view our 3 minute video clip and poster.

There will be comedy, entertainment, door prizes, and sponsorship tables that will feature womens health products.

Raquel Warchol, a 12 year old recording artist from Vernon, will also be performing at our event. I'm not sure if you heard of her but she is incredibly talented. She writes all her own music and plays acoustic guitar. She has just come back from Nashville where her talent is being developed.

Thank you again in helping us spread the word.

Best regards, Jane Campardo
