K&M TRUCKING STRUGGLE IN GAME

Princeton Posse Coach Dale 'Duner' Hladun

On January 22 K&M Trucking Bantams traveled to South Okanagan for a league game. Coming off a 1 win-3 game lose in their home tournament the team seemed ready to change their luck.

Shawn Hearty scored only thirty seconds into the first period on a nice pass from Bryce Markin and Colton Williams. Bryce Markin and Nick Yee also scored in the first before South Okanagan finally got on the board with a goal of their own.

Once again the players stopped playing defensively and found themselves down a goal at the end of the second period. South Okanagan struck first in the third but a goal from Bryce Markin, and another from Justin Disher saw Princeton tie the game. Once again with sloppy play in their own end Princeton found themselves behind two goals before Shawn Hearty pulled the team to within one.

With time dwindling down Princeton fell short losing 7 to 6. Points also went to Kiel Liberatore, Colton Williams, and Vian Maritz.

The weekend before was K&M Trucking Bantams Home tournament. We would just like to extend our thanks to those who donated stuff, Linen & Things (Steven Yee), Roy's Ice, Overwaitea, Glen Wilkinson, Salon D'Mar, and Princeton Greyhound. Thanks for your support!
