RODEO SEASON APPROACHES

Princeton Lions Club donated two wheelchair ramps to New Beginnings

Rodeo Committees in both Princeton and Keremeos are busy finalizing plans for their upcoming rodeo events.

Princeton will host the British Columbia Professional Bullrider Association with a one-night 'Bull-A-Rama' event scheduled for Friday, May 12th.

That event will be followed by the Canadian Professional Rodeo Association Princeton Pro Rodeo on Saturday and Sunday, May 13th and 14th.

Princeton Rodeo Club has hosted the CPRA-sanctioned event for the past five years and this will be the first time the group has hosted the BCPB Bullriders event.

The Friday night show is expected to draw about 40 bullriders.

Keremeos Elks Club has hosted a 68-year tradition with the annual Keremeos Elks Rodeo.

This year's event, a British Columbia Rodeo Association-sanctioned rodeo, is set to take place on Sunday and Monday, May 21st and 22nd. All three events will feature stock from C+ Rodeos.
