BIG WINNERS AT 13th FISHING DERBY
Otter Valley Fish & Game Club hosted their 13th Annual Pike Mountain Fishing Derby over the weekend.
The biggest fish caught was a 5-pounder, snagged by Larry Robinson - good enough to win the Men's Category.
Shannon McKay took the Ladies Category with a fish weighing in at 1 lb. 14 oz. In the Youth Category, Riley Nikic took first place with his catch of 2 lb. 11 oz.
Other winners in the Youth Category included Adrien Robinson (2 lb.), Zack Ruff (1 lb. 10 oz.), Dillion Jensen (1 lb. 7 oz.), Elisha McKay (1 lb. 5 oz.), Cody Robinson (1 lb. 3 oz.), Jade and Natasha Adams tied for 7th with 14 oz. catches, Colin Haller (13 oz.), Jonathan Haller and Brooke Kassa tied for 10th with fish weighing 10 oz.
Eric Holland and Colby Williams rounded out the category tied for 12th with 7 oz. fish.
In the Adult Two-Day Total Weight (limited to 2 fish per day) the Womens Winners were Shannon McKay (6 lb. 10 oz.) - $150. Judy Robinson was second winning $100 (2 lb. 12 oz.) and Marlene Robinson was third taking $50 (1 lb. 5 oz.).
In the Mens Division, Larry Robinson won $300 with his First Place total of 12 lb. 6 oz. Jim Powell was second with 10 lb. 10 oz. ($150), Cliff Robinson took third with 7 lb. 3 oz. ($100) and Cody Robinson was fourth with 5 lb. 15 oz. ($50).
The Family Prize Hidden Weight went to Bert Rice (1 lb. 4 oz.) and the Cooler Raffle was won by Jeanine Kassa.
Womens Hidden Weight winner with 14 oz. went to Jeanine Nikic and Mens Hidden Weight of 1 lb. went to Bo Wilkinson.
Randee Kassa won the Kids Guess Game with Carrie Kassa winning Best Decorated Hat.
Club President Ron White says there were a total of 72 entries and he was pleased with the event.
