LYNCH BUS LINES FLYERS RECEIVE THEIR BANNER!
On May 14th the Lynch Bus Lines Atom Hockey team held their year end party and awards. For us coaches it was a very hard decision of who should get what award! Every player deserved an award for they all improved, played their hearts out, and were just a great bunch of kids to coach.
The awards were handed out first with two awards for Most Sportsmanlike player these were given to Nathan Garton, and Joshua Coyne. There was also two awards for Most Improved these went to Ryan Hearty, and Brady Johnson. Most Dedicated went to Colby Williams. Award for Best Defensive Player went to Jordan Palumbo, and Most Offensive Player was Kraig Leochko. Top Goalie was Jesse Murray.
In the point race this award went to Colby Williams with 61 goals and 50 assists for a total of 111 points. We then had the team gather around for pictures with the Super League A banner.
All us coaches Keith Ortwein, Dave Palumbo, Barry Ovington, and myself (Kevin Williams) are very proud of each and every player on this team. They have come a very long way in developing their skill, and it would not of mattered to us as coaches if they had won the Banner or even have a season ending record of 27 wins 4 loses and 2 ties.
It was just great coaching a bunch of individuals who tried their hardest to do the drills and better themselves, which they did. Some other special accomplishments should be noted, and that is Kraig Leochko with 95 points, Brandt Fenrick 90 points, Graham Bibby 42 points, and Drayden Larson first year Atom 48 points.
Those number are very impressive for such a young age, but the other important thing was that every player contributed to the point sheet which was fantastic to see. A great year for all you players Captain Colby Williams, alternates Jordan Palumbo, Drayden Larson, and Rhett Ortwein, Brandt Fenrick, Kraig Leochko, Graham Bibby, Joshua Coyne, Clayton Obee, Brady Johnson, Austin Thibert, Clayton Jung, Justin Gill, Nathan Garton, Eric Hardin, and Franco Pontelleta.

I (Kevin) would like to thank my other coaches and trainer Darrell Leochko for their help this year. Thank you to the Princeton Castle for allowing us to hold the wind-up party there.
