BANTAMS SPLIT WEEKEND GAMES

It was another busy weekend for K&M Trucking Bantams playing two games on the weekend.

The first game saw them up against a Penticton team. This game was very exciting to watch with both teams having numerous scoring chances. Neither team could dominate but Princeton took the lead with two goals half way through the first until Penticton scored one of their own.

In the second Justin Disher who has never played hockey at all scored his first two goals to give Princeton a 3-goal lead going into the third period. Penticton did not quit the game and came out flying scoring two goals to get within one but Princeton scored two more as well as Penticton to end the game Princeton 8 Penticton 7.

On Sunday Princeton played host to Westside #3. This team proved to be a lot tougher, with one of their players scoring most of the goals.

The team tried hard but Westside's goalie kept Princeton off the scoreboard and unfortunately Princeton lost this game. Points for the weekend went to Bryce Markin 4 goals 3 assists, Colton Williams 2 goals 4 assists, and Justin Disher 2 goals.

A very special thanks to those Peewees that came up to help out the Bantams. Also a special get well to Taylor Esselink who was injured during Sunday's game. Get well soon.
