BANTAMS PLAY HOME OPENER
On Sunday October 2nd K&M Trucking played an awesome game against a very strong Westside Team. Both teams came out flying trying to dominate their opponent.
Westside took a 2-goal lead into the second before Princeton pulled within one from a goal by Kiel Libertore. But with only 7 seconds left Westside scored their third goal of the game.
In the third Westside scored once again looking like they were about to walk away with this game. At the 11-minute mark Colton Williams scored to bring his team to within two goals. Sean Hearty scored at the 4-minute mark to bring Princeton to within one, but Westside answered right back regaining their two-goal lead.
With two and half minutes left Kiel Libertore scored her second of the game. With Princeton all over their opposition and 50 seconds left Princeton pulled their goalie in the hopes to tie it up.
Kiel almost scored her hat trick but Princeton ran out of time and lost their home opener 5 to 4. Assists also went to Bryce Markin and Milen Wilkenson.
